First time using Gadget Guru for my sons Gaming Computer. I was appreciative of the care and time they took to get the job done correctly instead of rushing to fix it. Everything looks as good as new and I will definitively be using their services again.

These guys rock!
My mac laptop had been dead for about a year and they fixed it, better than new (now I have an SSD)!! Great pricing too, under $300.

Shaw was super helpful and polite the entire time. I dropped by for an estimate and compared to the apple store, there was a big difference for my Series 4 Apple Watch. I decided to go with Gadget Guru and it was fixed within 3 business days (which is shorter than apple since they have to ship it out, fix

The Top 11 Free Website Builders

I’ve spent the last month testing free website builders and here’s the truth: companies aren’t jumping at the opportunity to give away something for free— but with a little research you can make it work.

Limitations are pretty consistent across free website builders: most include an ad along the footer of your website— though some ads are definitely more intrusive than others. All include a free subdomain— though some are too long to be usable. Only two website builders on this list (Ucraft and Google Sites) let you connect a custom domain name on their free plan.

My work is supported by affiliate commissions— so I may earn a comission if you buy a website builder based on my reviews. For ecommerce see my round up the best free ecommerce builders.

Free website builders often put limits on your website— but near the end of the article I’ve … Read More

What is Web site? – Definition from WhatIs.com

This definition is also listed under presence, site and Website.

A Web site is a related collection of World Wide Web (WWW) files that includes a beginning file called a home page. A company or an individual tells you how to get to their Web site by giving you the address of their home page. From the home page, you can get to all the other pages on their site. For example, the Web site for IBM has the home page address of http://www.ibm.com. (The home page address actually includes a specific file name like index.html but, as in IBM’s case, when a standard default name is set up, users don’t have to enter the file name.) IBM’s home page address leads to thousands of pages. (But a Web site can also be just a few pages.)

Since site implies a geographic place, a Web site can be

The Differences Between the Internet and the Web

Main » Did You Know » Internet »

By Vangie Beal

Many people use the terms Internet and World Wide Web (aka. the Web) interchangeably, but in fact the two terms are not synonymous. The Internet and the Web are two separate but related things.

What is The Internet?

Internet IconThe internet is a massive network of networks, a networking infrastructure. It connects millions of computers together globally, forming a network in which any computer can communicate with any other computer as long as they are both connected to the internet. Information that travels over the internet does so via a variety of languages known as protocols.

Quick Points about The Internet:

  • It is a global network connecting millions of computers.
  • The internet is decentralized.
  • Each internet computer is independent.
  • There are a variety of ways to access the internet.
  • There are more than 3.5 billion internet users in the world.

Do You Need Computer Glasses?

Getting glasses used to be pretty straightforward: if you couldn’t see the blackboard in school or road signs when driving (or other equally far-away things), you went to the eye doctor, took a test and then got glasses if you needed them. But now that so much of our time is spent staring at screens—whether it’s our phones or computers—we’re told we need other types of glasses to help our eyes, even if we don’t require prescription specs. So what’s the deal with computer glasses?

Why you might need computer glasses

Vision problems are unfortunately one of the hazards of too much screen time. In fact, the Vision Council found that 59 percent of adults in the U.S. reported having some kind of digital eye strain (strained, dry, or red eyes; blurred vision; headaches; back pain; neck pain; or general fatigue) as

However, the variety of options can also be confusing for customers to navigate. Even more confusing is the fact that many options are available either on their own or bundled with television or telephone services.

Compare Internet ServiceWirefly enables customers to find the best deals for high-speed Internet. By comparing cable, satellite, and DSL high-speed Internet providers, we find the right company and Internet option for each customer.
