Essential Job Duties

This position will teach one or more undergraduate or graduate course(s) in department.

Department of Computer Science is accepting applications for the position of Lecturer (part-time) and Teaching Assistant Professor or higher (part-time). Specific hiring needs for the academic year and summer sessions are yet to be determined. Applications will be kept on file should openings arise in subsequent semesters. The position is one-semester or one-year, non-tenure tract appointments with possibility of renewal. This Spring 2020, Summer 2020, and Fall 2020 sessions.

Successful candidate(s) will teach one or two courses per semester.

Other Work/Responsibilities

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Experience/Education

Requires doctor’s degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a demonstrated commitment to quality undergraduate and graduate teaching.
  • Expertise in the area course(s) are taught in.
  • At least 1-5 years of relevant experience may be necessary/required depending on the area of course(s) taught.
